“…If there is one thing I hope my books do always and forever, it’s that they honor working people.” –Adriana Trigiani
Post production is in the final phase on THEN CAME YOU written by Kathie Lee Gifford and starring the screenwriter; Craig Ferguson, Ford Kieran, Phyllida Law and Elizabeth Hurley. Wait until you see the glorious hills of Scotland! You will love these actors in this story, romantic and hilarious- you will love the music composed by Brett James and Sal Oliveri.
More big news: check back here for news on the production of the movie version of VERY VALENTINE, cast and details to come!
The Origin Project is in full swing! Nancy, Linda and I kicked off the school year with a workshop at our beloved Barter Theater in Abingdon, Virginia (don't miss the gold standard in regional theater production, Rick Rose is a fearless creative leader); the students have their journals, and are choosing their subjects. Linda and Nancy were in Richmond, Virginia at Saint Peter and Paul School with the First Lady of Virginia, Pam Northam, to kick off our program there. Our Appalachian roots are deep, and the children are leading us throughout the state- amazing young writers!
The Gupta Foundation hosted their annual symposium in Herndon-Nancy and I were in awe of the programs they support- including serving as the amazing publishers of The Origin Project annual anthology written by our students. We are proud to be a small part of Shashi and Margaret's spectacular vision to change the world one idea at a time, by locking arms and solving problems.
Please join us in Phoenix on November 3rd for the AWB/Erma Bombeck annual luncheon, or in Elkhart, Indiana on November 6 for the It's Eye-Talian benefit. On October 30 in NYC, I'll be at the En Garde Arts Gala--would love to see you--check the Meet Adriana page for tickets and more details.
I'd love to hear from you, write to me anytime at email@example.com; or on Facebook, Instagram or the best: in person- on one of the tour stops. In the meantime, I send my love to you and yours for a glorious fall.
