“…When I was a young writer I always worked hard on imagery, and I knew that the roots of imagery were the senses – and that if my readers could feel, taste and see what I was talking about, I would be able to tell them a story.”

–Adriana Trigiani

Dear Friends,

Welcome to our biggest fall yet! We have the Big Stone Gap movie and All the Stars in the Heavens, a new novel set in the golden age of Hollywood, coming in October for you!

Big Stone Gap rolls out on October 9th!

Picturehouse presents us in theaters nationwide — please stay tuned for more information on locations where Big Stone Gap will be playing on the big screen. We’re doing our best to make certain we show it near you – as always, making the experience of the books, whether on the page or the screen, easy and accessible to you! Plus, be sure to check Fandango.com for tickets in your area – available soon!

We’d love to see you in Big Stone Gap, Virginia on October 10th for the celebration: parade, floats, a 5K run, a tea at the Fox House, and, as night falls, Main Street becomes a red carpet for our stars! There will be food and games and fun — don’t miss it! Click here for more information. We invite our friends from our neighboring towns, over Kingsport, Johnson City and Bristol way, our Kentucky neighbors – please join us to celebrate our movie, which celebrates our people and our mountains!

The week of October 4th, the all-star cast of Big Stone Gap will appear on many of your favorite morning and evening talk shows — we’ll keep you in the loop with appearances here, on the movie Facebook page and on Twitter.

All the Stars in the Heavens is a curl-up-by-the-fire (or, for my warm climate Floridians and Californians, on the chaise!) read of Hollywood proportions — a great love story imagined, set against the landscape of the golden age of movies. Check out Publisher’s Weekly’s starred review to learn more.

If you would like to join me on the road as I tour this fall, please click here for a calendar of events, location details, and where to get tickets.

If you’d like me to appear via Skype to your book club, please click here.

We’d like to extend an invitation to you to join us at home or abroad on one of our tours as we bring the books, their settings and the inspiration behind them to life. Please join us on a walking or tasting tour in Greenwich Village or on our magnificent tours of Italy, the UK and beyond. We keep the costs low, the experience deluxe, and the adventure high – a quick click to the fabulous Gina Casella at AT Escapes, a division of Adriana Trigiani Tours, and she will answer your questions.

Every couple of years, we hold The World’s Biggest Book Club, a luncheon and book giveaway with lots of laughs and prizes. Next time, we’d love to have you there; for more information, contact us.

The Origin Project is our in-school writing project, which we began in 2013 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia at Union High School. To learn more about it, and Nancy Bolmeier Fisher, our Executive Director, please click here.

Please write to me here with any questions or comments, and keep up with me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Goodreads! As always, thank you for reading my books and reaching out!

See you on the road! New dates and locations are added regularly — can’t wait!

Much love,
