“…If there is one thing I hope my books do always and forever, it’s that they honor working people.” –Adriana Trigiani

Dear Friends,

Thank you for visiting our website, and for making 2015 a wonderful year of reading!  You made All the Stars in the Heavens an instant bestseller!  Our book club visits and Skypes to homes and classrooms with The Origin Project  have filled the calendar and we love it!

We have plans for a fabulous live tour this summer for the paperback of All the Stars in the Heavens, so stay tuned here!

We are planning The World’s Biggest Book Club this year — will it be your city or town? We hope so.

The Big Stone Gap movie, the little engine that could, broke one million dollars at the box office in December 2015 and spent 11 weeks in theaters. This achievement is a testament to you and your love of the cast, the town, the story and the book! Thank you! We are proud to be one of the TOP-grossing women-directed films of 2015 and the #2 Top-Grossing Romantic Comedy of 2015!

Own the film on February 2, and check out our schedule of events here. I’ll be making stops across the Big Stone Gap, VA area to celebrate on Feb 5-6, accompanied by Paul Wilson (Lyle Makin) and our beloved local cast. Stay tuned for updates about special screenings in your area.

The glorious soundtrack to the Big Stone Gap movie is now available on iTunes and to own on CD, from Lakeshore Entertainment. It’s a must have for those of you who love the music of the mountains, with selections from our brilliant composer John Leventhal, his beautiful wife Rosanne Cash, the great Ralph Stanley, our beloved Papa Joe Smiddy and the Reedy Creek Boys, the glorious band If Birds Could Fly, plus the amazing Michael Trigiani. You will love it and press play over and over again!

I’m working on a new novel, and the other day, on a long walk in Greenwich Village, I passed a movie in production and my heart beat a little faster, and I thought, “I wonder if our readers would like another movie.” So let me know, and if you do, we’ll make it happen.

Gina Casella is cooking up great things over at AT Escapes, where the books become real as you travel to the places where the stories are set — maybe this is the year you come to New York City to experience one of our fabulous walking tours, or join us in Italy, the UK, and more. Click here for more information.

Keep up with me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Goodreads. We wish you, your family and friends much love, good health, work that sustains you and the experience of art  that lifts your spirit and brings you joy- God bless you each and every one!

xoxo Adriana
